Since this is a simple CF template, there are no conditions except allowed values for bucket name, but as an S3 bucket name can have 3 - 63 characters you can set Min and Max length for bucket name in parameters section. As the automation part would add upto 23 characters, you can set MaxLength parameter value of 40 for manual input.
